Such lovely work went into this treasured hand applique. We only wish there were notes or a label for a glimpse into it's past. Who was the maker? Where did she get the pattern, who was it being made for...and what happened to the quilter that it was never finished?

Another mystery with the lesson: if nothing else, make notes with a micron pen on muslin and baste to your tops until it's time to quilt them!
