The foundation patterns can also be printed to any size desired, provided you remember to add ¼" for the outside seam allowance. (Or 1/8" for miniature blocks).

The Unity Star block was created to honor and remember the victims of the September 11, 2001 tragedies. It's the right size if you would like to use it for the WTC Memorial quilt.

Unity Star is a design variation of our Stargate/Star Odyssey patterns, and combines well with them.

Strip piecing is so easy that we haven't felt it necessary to go beyond the directions printed with each block. However, if there's a demand, we'll add strip piecing to the basic directions page.
